  4 sincere questions for those that believe there is a God

  greetings.. allow me to set the questions up.. after 30 years in the truth (i'm now late 40's) and having established the truth about the truth i consider myself agnostic going on atheist.. i struggle to believe there is a god when i observe life yet i try to convince myself there must be something out there.. here's the basis of my question: http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/world-us-canada-23583116 .

  in summary, 2 young boys have been killed by a snake that escaped from a pet store in canada.

  it made it's way up through the ventilation into the apartment they were staying in.

  Elders Handbook

  after illegally downloading a copy and going through it, here are the most outstanding points all active jw's should know:.

  1. a little light gambling for entertainment is not something the elders should be concerned with providing it meets certain criteria.. 2. an elder who was appointed 10 years ago but fornicated 5 years ago can remain an elder providing he meets certain criteria.. elder 1: "i bet you'd love to shag my wife" (a little light gambling).

  elder 2: "i did, 5 years ago, but she wasn't into oral so i dumped her and wish i'd never bothered" (demonstrates regret).

  Quakers

  i've been doing some research today on the quakers and so far i quite like what i see.. the main reason is the lack of dogma or creed and the freedom to have views of your own.

  however, i am still researching and no way am i considering joining them - i just like what i see so far.. i wondered if anyone else - ex jw, has taken a look at this faith.

  if so, what were your conclusions?.

  i have decided to go back to basics and just read the bible alone, trying to eliminate wt influence from my mind as i read.
